The Freeky Geeky Files:
The Secret Life of Spray Cans (and Tiny Rattling Treasures)
RJ: "Alright, Eeeks, buckle up. Tonight's post is a deep dive into... spray paint cans. Specifically, the stray ones I've gathered from around the shop. Those that still have life will find their way back to the TARDIS cabinet. But for the empty ones, or those with failed caps... well, they face a different kind of recycling."
Pandora: "Oh, the never-ending paint can shuffle. At least we're finally documenting this for the blog. Do try to keep it efficient, RJ."
RJ: "My process involves puncturing them. And then, a hole drilled right through. All so I can get to the steel ball or marble inside."
Pandora: "And the logical reason for this destruction? Beyond pure, unadulterated curiosity, of course."
RJ: "Why, you ask? Why go through all that trouble for a tiny, rattling orb?" (He pauses, looks at the audience, then glances at Glitch.) "Honestly? I don't know."
Glitch: "WOO-HOO! I made him do it! It's like finding a secret treasure in every can! And they make cool noises! Like tiny can-maracas!"
RJ: "Yeah, what he said. Purely Glitch's fault, obviously. But you can't deny the allure of the unknown, the tiny little secret rattling inside that makes you go, 'Huh. I wonder what that's for?'"
Mopey: "The discarded shell... its purpose seemingly spent... yet, within its hollowed core... a hidden kernel of being... extracted for a new, unknown destiny... a quiet, rattling truth."
Phobos: (Twitching violently) "Puncturing aerosol cans?! The pressure! The fumes! The risk of explosion! And flying metal shards! This is a catastrophic failure waiting to happen, RJ! You need a blast shield! And a full-face respirator! Immediately!"
RJ: "Relax, Phobos, the shop is still in one piece. For now. But you know, this is the stuff makers do. The weird little obsessions, the things we just have to figure out, even if there's no logical reason. It's part of the madness, part of the fun."
RJ: (Looks directly at the audience, a conspiratorial grin) "You know, sometimes, being a maker means having hobbies within your hobbies. And sometimes, those hobbies involve dismantling things for tiny, rattling treasures. (He winks) Don't worry, Eeeks, I'm pretty sure this isn't covered in the official maker's handbook. But hey, Glitch approved."
