The Freeky Geeky Chronicles: The Mobile Dust Can

(The workshop floor is relatively clear for once, as RJ stands proudly beside a sleek, black-and-grey VEVOR push-sweeper, and RJ is wearing a rare, genuine grin.)

RJ: Look at this beast, Mopes!  No more hunched-over sweeping for hours. Level 1 fabrication grit stands no chance against these rotating brushes. It’s like we just unlocked a legendary-tier cleanup mount.

Mopes: (Floating with a heavy, crackly sigh, his mismatched washer eyes dimming as he stares at the machine)  It’s… large. A massive monument to a futile dream, RJ. You think this plastic titan can truly defeat the encroaching entropy of a messy mind?

RJ: (His grin faltering slightly) I mean, it’s not for "defeating entropy," buddy. It’s for the sawdust.  Look at those front brushes! They’ll pull everything right into the hopper. Efficiency, Mopes!

Mopes: (Pointing his broom-staff at the legs of the welding station)  And the corners? The tight spaces beneath the benches where the shadows—and the metal shavings—dwell in eternal peace?  This machine is too wide for the truth of the workshop. We’ll still be on our knees, sweeping by hand… as we always have.

RJ: (Rubbing the back of his neck) Okay, sure, we’ll do a little edging.  But the main floor! It’ll be spotless in minutes!

Mopes: (Trailing into a mumble as he hovers over a small crevice in the concrete)  The cracks… it cannot reach the cracks, RJ. The dust will settle there, mocking us… whispered secrets of the grime you tried to ignore. It’s just a faster way to realize how much we’ve missed.

RJ: (Shoulders slumping) At least… at least we don’t need the dustpan anymore, right?  We can just sweep the tight spots into piles and let this thing gulp them up. It’s basically a mobile dust can!

Mopes: (A slow, quivering drawl) A mobile dust can. All that money spent… just to give the debris a more expensive place to sit before it eventually returns to the floor. A very… shiny… disappointment.

RJ's Lesson:
(RJ looks out toward the Dream Window Studio, leaning heavily on the handle of the sweeper.)

You know, sometimes you buy a tool thinking it’s going to solve all your problems in one go, but reality—and certain dust bunnies—have a way of reminding you that there are no shortcuts to a clean slate. The "Mobile Dust Can" might not be a magic wand, but it’s still a step forward. The lesson here? Don't let the spots you can't reach keep you from cleaning the ones you canProgress isn't about perfection; it's about making the mess a little easier to manage so you can get back to the actual building.
